Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve inbound and outbound transportation strategies, including carrier and 3PL management.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and on-time shipment of finished goods to our customers.
  • Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material movement, and shipping.
  • Optimize freight cost, routing, packaging, and logistics processes.
  • Partner closely with production, materials, procurement, and planning teams to support plant performance.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, service, cost, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, coach, and engage logistics and warehouse teams in alignment with Siemens values.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • We typically look for a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • We value 8 or more years of progressive management experience in logistics or distribution experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • We seek experience supporting large-scale operations, ideally in facilities with 1,000+ employees.
    • We appreciate strong leadership, communication, and continuous improvement skills.
    • We prefer familiarity with ERP systems, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
