Supply Chain Internship - Remote (Summer 2027)

About the role

The Supply Chain / Procurement Intern will support sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and supply chain operations activities. This internship provides hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to improve processes, analyze data, support vendor relationships, and contribute to cost-saving and operational efficiency initiatives. Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement and sourcing activities, including supplier research and quote comparisons.
• Support purchase order and contract administration processes.
• Analyze spend, supplier, and inventory data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Help maintain procurement records, reports, and supplier documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support purchasing needs.
• Participate in supply chain and procurement projects focused on process improvement and cost optimization.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership review.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Interest in procurement, sourcing, supply chain operations, and business processes.

Requirements

• Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Preferred junior & senior level but will consider other class levels.

Skills

• Experience with data analysis or reporting tools.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
