Supply Chain Intern (Year-Round)

About the Supply Chain Internship

Support a fast-paced manufacturing environment by assisting with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience creating and maintaining production schedules for multiple manufacturing assets while balancing changing customer demand, production priorities, material availability, and capacity constraints.

Program Structure

• Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer
• Location: Milwaukee, WI
• Start Date: January 2027
• Duration: Year-round internship

What We're Looking For

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field with current status of at least a sophomore level
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to succeed in a team environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks

Preferred Experience

• ERP experience
• Purchasing experience
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S tools

What You'll Focus On

• Monitor production performance, capacity utilization, inventory levels, and raw material availability to help optimize production schedules and support on-time delivery
• Assist with raw material procurement activities and help manage inventory that supports the manufacturing process
• Perform routine inventory audits to validate system accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Provide day-to-day support for the Procurement and Planning teams by assisting with ad hoc projects, data analysis, process improvements, and other supply chain initiatives
