Supply Chain Intern II, (Summer 2027) Hybrid

About the role

In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Integrated Supply Chain team, which has a direct impact on program success, acting as a critical chain that links the end-to-end material flow together
• Utilize critical thinking skills to develop, negotiate and work with a team driven to make a big impact
• Feed the floor, flawlessly

Required Education & Skills

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related technical field and have completed at least sophomore year
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or academic project experience related to Supply Chain
• Ability to follow strict procedures and checklists to ensure no detail is overlooked
• A desire to learn the complexities of defense manufacturing and quality governance
• Ability to clearly document findings and communicate observations to supervisors
• Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles or Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $37,401 - $50,534
