Responsibilities
- Support purchasing, planning, and inventory management activities
- Analyze inventory levels and assist with maintaining optimal stock levels
- Aid in supplier communication, purchase orders, and delivery tracking
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives related to supply chain and materials management
- Monitor key supply chain metrics and prepare reports for the team
- Assist with forecasting, demand planning, and production scheduling activities
- Help identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Research suppliers, materials, and cost saving opportunities
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance to support daily operations
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related program at an accredited college or university
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Ability to analyze data and identify trends
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
Strong work ethic, initiative, organization, and attention to detail
