About the Role
OSI Optoelectronics has an internship opportunity for a college student pursuing a diploma or degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field to support the Supply Chain department. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic industry, contributing to data analysis and reporting under the guidance of the Supply Chain team.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis related to vendors and commodities with guidance from the Supply Chain team.
- Review various data points and enter data for database cleanup.
- Generate periodic summary reports.
- Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- Report any quality problems or defects to management for corrective action.
- Adapt to modified or assigned duties as needed to meet business requirements.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in college during the 2026 academic school year and in good standing.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is desired.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Must be a team player.
Pay
The pay range for this internship is $20.00 hourly. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, job-related knowledge, and education, in conjunction with market and business considerations.
