Summary Of Position Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC is a privately held and financially strong industrial services company that prides itself on the safety of its workers. Niles is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Intern to join our dynamic team for the summer of 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management, including logistics, inventory management, and procurement. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to optimizing our supply chain processes. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assist in data collection and analysis to support supply chain planning and forecasting. Collaborate with the logistics team to monitor shipments and resolve any delivery issues. Help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits. Support procurement activities by researching suppliers and obtaining quotes. Enter PO’s into our ERP system, verify accurate job number and costs are being applied and verify shipment addresses for accuracy Track vendor accounts by reviewing monthly statements, updating account information and payment updates. Adjust and review PO’s as needed. Assist with reviewing packing slips for PO’s Assist with ordering stock items Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for efficiency. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management meetings. Conduct market research to identify trends and best practices in supply chain management. Attend team meetings and provide updates on assigned projects. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of supply chain concepts is a plus. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
