Supply Chain Intern

Position Purpose

Imbed with various teams across the extended Supply Chain, driving key business functions and process improvements to further company objectives.

Essential Skills And Experience

• Active pursuit of Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Business, Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, R).
• Prowess in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must possess a strong “customer service” attitude.
• Clear, articulate oral communication skills projected with confidence, as well as the ability to listen, understand, and comprehend other coworkers while portraying a professional and positive attitude.
• Willing to learn new skills, knowledge, and techniques.

Principle Accountabilities

• Gain exposure to a variety of teams, completing day-to-day tasks and working on long-term, cross-functional projects.
• Participate in demand reviews (provide data/trend analysis).
• Maintain forecast system alerts.
• Aid in reporting for S&OP and various cross-functional projects.
• Manage Supply Planning.
• Manage transfer order signals for intercompany goods movement.
• Perform root-cause analysis relating to on-time service, excess inventory, etc.
• Improve warehouse mapping process for customer-warehouse relationship.
• Support procurement by preparing data for purchase history, volumes, spend, competitive info., etc.
• Develop tracking and documentation for compliance with supplier onboarding.
• Support distribution channel mapping (raw materials, suppliers, countries of origin, areas of leverage).
• Drive cost analysis for new acquisition sites.
• Develop updated process documentation.
• Manage E-Fulfillment logistics.
• Manage product transitions (demand forecasting, supply planning).
• Support company transportation needs (process, escalation, cost savings opportunities).
• Drive logistics support during peak seasons.
