About the role
Ducommun is seeking summer interns to join our team for a 10-week internship, from May 25, 2026 to July 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with suppliers on order status, update open order reports and delivery dates in MRP and escalate issues to internal stakeholders
- Review inventory levels of consumable material and work to enhance existing VMI programs to minimize risk of shortages
- Streamline the process for maintaining the Approved Supplier List with the objective of creating a portal that allows suppliers to update and maintain their own survey information
Requirements
- Proficiency with computer usage and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain principles
- Strong analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and present actions and information to stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and documentation skills
Qualifications
- Upper-level student studying Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or similar from an accredited College or University
- Must be continuing education post internship
- Must be a US Person
Benefits
Base Compensation: USD 21.00 - 22.00 Paid Hourly
