Supply Chain Facility Manager

About the role

Supply chain facility managers are responsible for implementing, measuring, and directing all supply chain activities for distribution services including perpetual inventory, receiving, distribution, and warehouse operations within the facility under the direction of the site supply chain director. This role collaborates with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure supply needs are met in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for vendors regarding vendor performance, concern resolutions, and standardization.
• Ensures supervision is always on site to support the team.
• Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, training, and initiatives.
• Manages facility supply chain staff and operations in receiving, distribution, linen, warehouse, storeroom, and other assigned areas.
• Collaborates with the site supply chain director to ensure all performance metrics are met or exceeded.
• Identifies cost savings opportunities and presents them to the site supply chain director and clinical resource director for consideration.
• Conducts documented daily and monthly rounding and audits for survey readiness relevant to RWJBH, DOH, and TJC standards.
• Ensures that all actionable findings are addressed timely.
• Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for special projects, including training support in various systems.
• Responsible for identifying and reporting safety concerns, medical errors, device malfunctions, and facility damage (walls, ceiling tiles, etc.).

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years of supply chain management experience required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Pay

Anticipated annual salary range: $60,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
