About the role

Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, the position supports a variety of Supply Chain activities both for internal and external metrics reflecting M&P performances. The activities will include bidding and implementing changes, analyzing impact of change to the supply chain, engineering, and industrialization, and representing M&P in change boards & development plateaus.

Responsibilities

• Assist M&P in change board meetings.
• Monitor reports and metrics on inventory and cost.
• Perform, analyze, and publish root cause analysis.
• Perform computer searches to locate potential suppliers.
• Work with M&P to help send out forecast to suppliers.
• Work closely with staff and supervision.
• Perform other special assignments as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

• Junior status of accredited college or university.
• Full time status.
• Committed to Business related major with emphasis on Business Administration, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum GPA of 2.80.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Purchasing functions.
• Knowledge of Software applications.

Additional Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing activities.
• Willing to learn and dependable.
• Strong organizational skills.

Schedule

Work week to average 25-30 hours.

Working Conditions

• Must have the ability to work at computer terminal/screen for long periods of time.
• Must have basic mobile skills to walk between buildings.
• Some moderate lifting may be required.

Pay

$21.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime.
