Supply Chain and Parts Sales Business Process Analyst Intern

Western Aircraft Inc. seeks a Business Process Analyst Intern to work with the Parts and Supply Chain Management team and the Director of Parts. The intern will map current company processes, create Standard Operating Procedures, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Automate processes using software and/or artificial intelligence
• Accurately research and map current processes
• Proactively work with teams to understand current processes
• Recommend process improvements to the current system
• Write Standard Operating Procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum three years of college experience in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Analysis
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and AI tools, including creation of spreadsheets, macros, databases, generative web development, and data mining
• Ability to interpret and navigate aircraft manuals, project tracking software, and databases
• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work accordingly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to obtain an airport-issued security badge

Qualifications

• Prefer 2 to 3 years of college in an ABET-accredited program studying process optimization

Working Environment

Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled office environment. Requires sitting 6-8 hours a day and sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to function in a general office setting.
