Supply Chain Analyst-Supply Chain Data Management

Responsibilities

• Analyzes supply chain operations to improve processes, performance, and reduce costs and waste.
• Works with departments within and outside of Supply Chain to enhance supply chain analytics.
• Evaluates point of use systems, with a focus on optimizing integrated systems and process flow.
• May perform buying and purchasing responsibilities, including placing purchase orders, obtaining quotes, and expediting deliveries.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or 4 years of relevant Supply Chain experience.
• Familiarity with supply chain/ERP systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Previous experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Possesses lean certification or related work experience.
• Advanced computer analytical skills and experience in Access, Crystal reporting, and/or SQL.

Physical Demands

• May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
• May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
• Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
• Ability to read job related documents.
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to travel to and from multiple MetroHealth locations.
• Ability to push/pull 50 pounds when assigned to the operating room.
