Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination & development of the Supply Chain operating and capex budget. Collaborate with TARO budget and maintain budget database.
- Monitor expenditure, data analysis, and forecasting for NJDC operations.
- Timely review, audit, & validation of expenditures for payment authorization. Manage cost center spending.
- Support to move improved PO based invoice booking to manage as per the corporate guide line.
- Cordination with SUN/TARO Finance on end-of-month cost allocation and cross-charge of expenses.
- Support monthly variance analysis, performance dashboards & data visualization and communicate financial results as required.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs and interpret data analytics in business decisions.
- Review contracts and negotiate rates & charges with service providers. Review and analyze all contract terms and conditions to identify financial implications & risks with service providers.
- Develop procurement related KPIs on cost savings, supplier performance, & inventory management.
- Support VP SC and management with ad hoc analytics & requests.
- Main interface with Finance, Customer Service, service providers and business partners.
- Drive continuous improvement process, savings projects
- Process improvement on going with DHL and offshore activity with AP team
- Account reconciliation and manage them to be current for better relationship with each vendor and get new and improved service and rate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, a technical field preferred
- 2-5 years related experience in budget management or finance
- Understanding of supply chain, third-party vendors and 3PLs
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables, a must
- Ability to focus on large data sets and distill key facts over many hours of work
- ERP Skills in SAP are valued
- Data mining and/or SQL skills preferred
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, brand products, or the food/beverage industry preferred
