Nature Of Duties
- Uses a variety of tools and systems, which may include Oracle, eComprass, APS, VMI, ICON, COPICS, e-warehouse and Webplanner.
- The ability to become proficient in these company software tools is a must.
- Requires extensive data analysis, such as comparing forecasts to supplier commitment schedules and providing gap analysis to ensure parts availability for large customers/projects.
- May also include analyzing customer proposals for pricing and delivery information accuracy.
- Implementation and improvement of supply programs and conducting analysis to determine eligibility for those programs.
- This will include communicating and training others on any new programs or addendums to current programs.
- Performs analysis of reports and data and presents recommendations to Senior Management.
- Captures and analyzes data to provide metrics in accordance with corporate standards.
- You will be expected to pull data from abstract sources to create adhoc reports.
- Requires a person to be able to lead a team in becoming effective problem solvers at every step of the process.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- 4-6 years experience working as an Analyst, preferably Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment
- BA or AS in Business or equivalent
- MUST have excellent Excel skills including the ability to perform Vlookup and creating macros
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
