Responsibilities
- Forecast, analyze, and manage multi-node supply chain operations supporting expeditionary logistics and sustainment.
- Analyze material demand signals, order status, inventory levels, and warehouse capacities across geographically distributed locations.
- Monitor supply chain performance using key metrics and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and agility.
- Assist in planning inventory allocation strategies, vendor/supplier coordination, and stock positioning in accordance with evolving operational priorities and Joint Operational Plans (OPLANs).
- Help ensure the integrity, traceability, and security of data in inventory and property systems, including support for Item Unique Identification (IUID) and asset tracking.
- Collaborate across logistics, engineering, and operational health support teams to optimize sustainment across all phases of military operations, particularly in austere environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience in a supply chain/logistics analyst role.
- Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics planning using enterprise resource planning (ERP) or inventory control systems.
- Experience with utilizing analytical skills to interpret supply trends, risks, and cost-impact scenarios.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
- Working knowledge of government supply chain programs such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or similar property accountability systems.
- Familiarity with JP 4-0 and Joint Logistics doctrine.
- Experience with vendor coordination, forecasting tools, and real-time inventory dashboards.
- Experience supporting procurement and inventory tracking for Class I – IX supply categories.
