About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst 1 to coordinate and manage new model launches and running change activities in collaboration with supporting departments (SCM, Purchasing, PPE, Engineering, Product Planning, DCC, Packaging, TCS, oCQE, and others).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee new model timelines to support launch activities.
  • Download and review new model recommendation lists containing new parts established for launch activities.
  • Utilize and recommend changes to Demand Coefficient Tables (DCTs) and customer inputs to determine initial order quantities.
  • Work with Purchasing to ensure purchase orders are in place to support launch activity.
  • Coordinate team meetings to review new model launch progress and troubleshoot issues.
  • Generate reports to communicate launch activity status.
  • Follow up with Purchasing, PPE, Inventory Control, and affiliate departments to ensure milestones are met, including 95%-to-100% part availability for Start of Sale (SOS).
  • Support Delivery Judgement (DJM) activities with plants and affiliates such as NML, NMUK, NMX, etc.
  • Represent assigned projects in meetings with SCM, management, TCS, and Purchasing.
  • Maintain documentation on standard processes for applications and procedures.
  • Identify process improvements and drive continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 0-2 years of supply chain management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Access, other PC applications, or mainframe applications.
  • Ability to work on-site at Mt. Juliet, TN.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide progress updates to upper-level management.
