Supplier/Vendor QA Engineer

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage effectively the Supplier Performance Programs, including SCAR closure timeliness and metrics
• Ensure supplier process controls provide 100% acceptance to Customer requirements
• Drive division-wide supplier Quality issues and improvements to resolution
• Participate in Corporate Quality Audit improvement actions
• Maintain and Improve supplier metrics, specifically QPPM and OTD targets

Education And Experience

• 5+yrs experience as Supplier Quality Engineer
• Experience with 5S, FMEA, Cpk, GR&R etc.
• Experience leading and guiding a group of Receiving Inspection personnel
• Expertise in First Article process (Mostly for mechanical parts)
• Knowledge in metrology
• Progressively advanced experience in indirectly managing people
• Effective presentations skills
• Six Sigma training and experience
• BS in engineering or related field

Salary Range(annual)

$93,000 - $103,000
