Supplier Relations Coordinator
About the role
Ventura Travel is seeking a Supplier Relations Coordinator to turn traveler needs into organized, accurate, and service-ready travel plans. This is a full-time, 100% remote position open to candidates in the United States. The role supports specialized international tours, destination research, local partners, and responsible-travel operations, emphasizing accurate supplier records, issue tracking, service information, and partner follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Review traveler requests, dates, preferences, budgets, and service constraints before recommending next steps.
- Research destinations, suppliers, schedules, inclusions, and policies, then organize clear comparisons for review.
- Maintain accurate traveler names, dates, preferences, confirmations, deadlines, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate follow-up with travelers, suppliers, and internal partners while keeping open items visible.
- Resolve routine questions, document changes, and escalate complex service or disruption issues with complete notes.
Results
- Travelers receive timely, useful updates.
- Records remain accurate and deadlines are not missed.
- Documentation is clear enough that another team member can understand each trip's status.
Requirements
- Strong attention to names, dates, confirmations, inclusions, and customer preferences.
- Clear written and verbal communication with dependable follow-through.
- Confidence researching and comparing information across web-based travel tools.
- Ability to organize multiple requests without losing track of outstanding details.
Position Information
The Supplier Relations Coordinator will work through approved digital systems, shared documents, email, phone, and collaboration tools. Secure handling of company and customer information, reliable availability during agreed working hours, and clear written status updates are essential.
Pay
Full-time, associate-level position with a base compensation of $45,000–$65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
