Supplier Quality Specialist

About the Opportunity:The Supplier Quality Specialist role is vital to ensuring that suppliers, contract manufacturers, distributors, third-party logistics providers, and external partners comply with the organization’s quality, regulatory, and supply chain standards. This position focuses on maintaining and enhancing quality processes to uphold operational excellence and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated medical device environment. 3. Responsibilities:Execute supplier and distribution quality management processes per approved procedures and regulatory requirements.Compile, review, and maintain quality records, reports, and metrics.Coordinate cross-functional follow-up to ensure timely completion and documentation of required actions.Support investigations, trend analysis, audit preparation, inspection readiness, and management review inputs.Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve compliance and standardization.Assist with training, procedure updates, data analysis, and communication of quality requirements.Maintain accurate, complete, and inspection-ready records in quality systems. 4. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Business, or related discipline.3–5+ years of relevant experience in quality, compliance, quality systems, supplier or distribution quality in a regulated industry.Experience with quality records maintenance, audit support, follow-up management, and controlled quality system processes.Knowledge of medical device quality requirements, Good Documentation Practices, CAPA, change control, training, and document control.Understanding of supplier controls in life sciences.Strong analytical, technical judgment, risk-based decision making, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex quality topics clearly.Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, regions, sites, and external partners.Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and maintain accurate records in a regulated environment.Commitment to data integrity, inspection readiness, continuous improvement, and customer focus. Preferred:Experience with supplier audits, quality agreements, scorecards, SCAR/CAPA, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, SAP, PLM/eQMS, and distribution risk management. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Competitive base salary range of $101,000 to $111,000, subject to variation based on location and candidate qualifications.Eligibility for an annual bonus.Total rewards package includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings plans, and paid time off. 6.
