Our client, a leading healthcare and medical device organization, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their Quality Department, supporting the Supplier Quality and Procurement teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage Supplier Change Notifications (SCN), including change impact assessments, internal/external communication, and change implementation
- Lead material non-conformance investigations, including root cause analysis, risk assessment, and correction activities
- Manage Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) through investigation, corrective action, and verification of effectiveness (VOE)
- Drive supplier development — supplier qualification, new material qualification, and receiving inspection procedure development for new product integration
- Monitor supplier performance by creating scorecards and maintaining supplier history file accuracy through continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
- Experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or quality assurance within a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar)
- Working knowledge of root cause investigation tools, CAPA/SCAR processes, and risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 quality system requirements
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional and external supplier collaboration
