Supplier Quality Engineer - Intermediate

Job Summary

A Supplier Quality Engineer is needed to join one of our Fortune 500 clients. The role involves supplier development, monitoring, improvement, and maintenance, contributing to the development of supplier quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that comply with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage change impact assessment, internal/external communication, and change implementation for Supplier Change Notification (SCN)
• Manage root cause investigation, risk assessment, and correction activities for Material Non-conformance Investigations
• Create and maintain Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) including investigations, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness (VOE)
• Develop supplier qualification, new material qualification, and receiving inspection procedures for new product integration in Supplier Development
• Create and monitor performance scorecards for Supplier Performance Monitoring
• Manage continuous improvement and ensure accuracy of supplier history files in Supplier Maintenance
