The Supply Chain Team

The Supply Chain Team is working on key problems such as supplying compute at a scale of 10s to 100s of GWs, qualifying and dual-sourcing critical equipment, and building the most accurate supply chain prediction modeling.

Examples of key problems the team is working on include:

• Supplying compute at a scale of 10s to 100s of GWs, the largest build out of compute in history
• Qualifying and dual-sourcing across every critical equipment category, with lead-time and capacity thresholds tied directly to the forward build pipeline
• Making supply chain the reason we build faster than anyone
• Building the most accurate supply chain prediction modelling that exists

Role Scope

The role involves owning supplier quality for electrical equipment, running factory audits and witness testing, setting inspection and test requirements, and driving corrective action on escapes.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Owning supplier quality for electrical equipment: switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway from qualification through delivery
• Running factory audits and witness testing (FAT, routine tests) at electrical OEM facilities worldwide
• Setting inspection and test requirements into purchase orders so quality is contractual, not assumed
• Driving corrective action on escapes, and tracking supplier quality data that feeds back into award decisions

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with experience in supplier quality or witness testing for major electrical equipment. The ideal candidate can read electrical test reports critically, has held OEMs to test standards, and can travel to factories readily.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with IEEE and ANSI switchgear standards
• Transformer testing
• UPS and battery systems
• NETA or NICET credentials

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $155K - $199K.
