Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

The purpose of this role is to perform the development of VLSI system by defining the various functionalities, architecture, layout and implementation for a client.

Responsibilities

• Perform the development of VLSI system by defining the various functionalities, architecture, layout and implementation for a client.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations and engineering), representing the Quality function.
• Conduct verification of the module/ IP functionality and provide customer support.
• Create test bench development and test case coding of the one or multiple module.
• Execute the test cases and debug the test cases if required.
• Conduct functional coverage analysis and document the test cases including failures and debugging procedures on SharePoint/ JIRA or any other platform as directed.
• Test the entire IP functionality under regression testing and complete the documentation to publish to client.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems on time & with minimum latency and maximum efficiency.
• Write scripts for the IP.
• Comply with project plans and industry standards.
• Maintain documents and create a repository of all design changes, recommendations etc.
• Maintain time-sheets for the clients.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering or equivalent through experience.
• 3- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in Compute system/ Server/Consumer Electronics /Hardware manufacturing.
• Working experience with Contract Manufacturers (CM) and PDP build phases.
• Experience with manufacturing Quality audits, Quality KPIs management.
• 5+ years of experience with problem solving methodologies (Ishikawa, FMEA, SCAR, 5 Why, 8D, Pareto, MIL…).
• Experience with ESD standards (ANSI S20.20), ISO9001 certification, Quality Management System process compliance.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration on defining quality SOPs, PCNs, Work Instructions etc.
• Able to Present data in a PPT
• Do Conduct verification of the module/ IP functionality and provide customer support
• Understand the architecture of the module or the IP and create verification environment and the development plan as per Universal Verification Methodology
• Basic Project Management skills required.
• Proficiency with Office tools and common data analysis tools (JMP, R, Excel,…).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English); ability to concisely report to cross-functional team and management.
• Understand TS1 to MP (Proto to Mass production understanding the flow)
• SCAR and 5Why Structure problem solving
• Able to Present data in a PPT

Pay

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 . Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
