About the Role

Responsible for driving all supplier quality activities, including working with PCB, PCBA, cables, sheet metal, precision machining, connectors, plastics, and electronic components such as IC, BGA, capacitors, resistors, and inductors (both SMT and through-hole).

Responsibilities

  • Manage effectively the Supplier Performance Programs, including SCAR closure timeliness and metrics.
  • Ensure supplier process controls provide 100% acceptance to customer requirements.
  • Drive division-wide supplier quality issues and improvements to resolution.
  • Participate in Corporate Quality Audit improvement actions.
  • Maintain and improve supplier metrics, specifically QPPM and OTD targets.

Requirements

  • 1 to 5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
  • Experience with 5S, FMEA, Cpk, GR&R, etc.
  • Experience leading and guiding a group of Receiving Inspection personnel.
  • Expertise in First Article process (mostly for mechanical parts).
  • Knowledge in metrology.
  • Progressively advanced experience in indirectly managing people.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Six Sigma training and experience.
  • BS in engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Pay

Annual salary range: $93,000 – $103,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills.
