Responsibilities
- Design and develop prototypes and production parts using CAD software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and meet project deadlines
- Conduct regular design reviews and provide feedback to improve designs
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new technologies into designs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in prototyping and production part design
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques
- Knowledge of material properties and selection
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerances
