About the role
Dentsply Sirona is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support our Operations site in Johnson City, TN, USA. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality engineering support to the purchasing team.
- Works closely with Purchasing, R&D and Operations and engineering team (ME/QE) to develop and implement appropriate risk management, qualification, verification and validation plans for supplier related materials.
- Responsible for managing the supplier development and approval and maintaining the assessment system.
- Supports company goals and objectives, policies and procedures in compliance with quality systems, FDA regulations and MDD/MDR requirements.
- Develops/implements/ensures compliance with supplier approval and monitoring procedures and work instructions.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years relevant industry experience in a supplier quality capacity, preferred.
- Experience working across multiple business units preferably at a global scale.
