Supplier Quality Engineer
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced supply chain professional to support manufacturing operations by leading supplier-related issue resolution and mitigating supply chain disruptions. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers to identify risks, drive corrective actions, and ensure continuity of production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the coordination and resolution of supplier-related production disruptions to minimize operational impact.
Partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective recovery plans.
Conduct detailed root cause investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions for supply chain issues.
Identify potential supplier risks through ongoing monitoring and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate clear and timely communication with internal stakeholders during critical supply chain events.
Utilize Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to strengthen supplier performance and operational efficiency.
Support the development of standardized processes, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain organization.
Act as a subject matter resource for supplier performance and supply chain risk management across operational teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of five (3-5) years of experience in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, Supply Chain, or a related manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience managing supplier escalations, production recovery efforts, and supply chain risk.
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
Able to prioritize multiple initiatives and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a high level of professional integrity.
Willingness to travel as needed, including occasional short-notice travel to supplier locations.
Salary Range
$75,000-80,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
