Role Overview

The Supplier Quality Engineer manages and improves the quality of the global supply base, ensuring suppliers meet quality, compliance, and performance standards throughout the product lifecycle. They lead supplier qualification, development, and audits, assessing processes and controls to ensure adherence to aerospace standards such as AS9100. The role involves establishing and monitoring KPIs like PPM and on-time delivery, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and resolving supplier nonconformances through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and operations, they act as a key interface to optimize supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering
• 5+ years in aerospace supplier quality
• Experience with standards like AS9100 and NADCAP
• Proficiency in quality tools and audits
