As a member of our team at Exotic Metals Forming Division (EMFD), you will advocate and support Parker's Corporate WIN Strategy by participating in the supplier selection program regarding supplier capabilities and working with existing suppliers to ensure full quality compliance. Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains a supplier quality system that is effective in producing, measuring, and maintaining a supply base measured by DPPM.
  • Ensures compliance to procedures outlined in the Supplier Quality Manual; revises and implements changes as required.
  • Participates in supplier reviews and provides input to the Purchasing Department regarding supplier quality.
  • Performs supplier quality system audits.
  • Ensures reliability and accuracy of products provided by the supply base.
  • Ensures that nonconforming material is dispositioned in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with suppliers on all initiatives relating to supplier quality performance.
  • Tracks performance trends and performs quality trend analysis from the supplier base; facilitates corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Leads supplier development activities for the dock-to-stock program.
  • Utilizes lean manufacturing, error proofing, and continuous improvement initiatives to support the supplier base by assisting in the development of robust processes that assure quality products and services.
  • Provides support to customers related to supply-based issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of related experience (Quality Engineering preferred).
  • Thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art inspection and quality engineering/assurance techniques, procedures, instruments, equipment, theories, principles, and concepts, and general business operations.
  • Ability to effectively solve problems, assess and implement continuous improvement techniques, use standard business applications software and/or specialized data analysis tools, establish goals and objectives to complete projects, and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Qualifications

  • ASQ Certification, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification, and/or ISO Internal Auditor Certification are preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $83,250 to $132,150 annually. Participation in the Annual Incentive Program.
