What To Expect Supplier Industrial Engineer for Low Voltage TLA modules, will Manage industrialization of Autopilot Infotainment parts, including Audio, Telemetry and Sensors. Responsible to scale to manufacturing at Suppliers working with Tesla Engineering teams for Automotive, Energy and Robotics and Data centers What You'll Do Provide leadership for New Product Introduction (NPI) at Suppliers, Lead supplier improvements in scalability, cost, and qualityReview 2D ,3D CAD Mechanical Drawings and conduct DFM with suppliersExecute qualification activities, required for product release PPAPAccountable for supplier audits to ensure their ability to meet part performance, delivery, and reliability expectationsCollaborate with Tesla Design, Quality, and Manufacturing to determine the ideal performance specifications and supplier metricsAccountable for leading, tracking and improving supplier manufacturing process development and launch readiness for new products and design changesValidate supplier corrective actions involving design and/or process changes to ensure they are robust, sustainable, and implemented for similar potential concerns across manufacturing lines and/or suppliersProvide input on new or alternative materials for improved design, manufacturability, or cost reductionSoft Skills Required Highly motivated, proactive engineer Strong in Analytical Skills, Presentation Skill Strong communication skills with international teams. Strong Problem-Solving Skills Strong Interpersonal skills Experience working with International OEM/SupplierAble to work independently and under high pressure, an average of 50 - 60% travel, possibly on short notice What You'll Bring Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Material/Manufacturing Engineering3 - 7 Years Experience in Automotive Top Level Assembly Component Development preferredAbility to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
