About the role

The Supplier Analyst position at the University of South Carolina is responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier performance evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain supplier databases and perform regular supplier audits
  • Coordinate communication between suppliers and the purchasing department
  • Prepare reports on supplier performance and submit them to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems is a plus
