About the role
The Supplier Analyst position at the University of South Carolina is responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier performance evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain supplier databases and perform regular supplier audits
- Coordinate communication between suppliers and the purchasing department
- Prepare reports on supplier performance and submit them to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems is a plus
