Supplemental Reading Teacher - 2026-2027

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree with a valid Missouri teaching certificate.
• Must be certified in Special Reading (Remedial).
• Preferred: Five years of successful classroom teaching experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
• Telework when requested by the District.
• Plan and administer the special reading program.
• Interpret student needs and progress in reading to the classroom teacher and the parents.
• Confer with parents concerning individual students experiencing special reading problems or those requiring special remedial help.
• Maintain the documentation necessary to comply with state and federal guidelines.

Terms of Employment

• 9 month term of employment.
• Eligible for emergency telework: With Supervisor Approval.

Pay

• Per-Approved Teacher Salary Schedule.
