SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY-FOOTBALL (HEAD & ASSISTANT COACH)
POSITION GOAL
The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are responsible for leading and managing athletic teams, providing instruction, and ensuring the safety and welfare of participants.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- The Head Coach must hold a standard high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Florida Educator Certificate.
- The Assistant Coach must hold a standard high school diploma or equivalent and a knowledge of the activity and ability to impart this knowledge.
- Both positions require computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Preference is given to candidates with significant coaching experience and a proven track record in their respective sports.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be able to perform physical activities such as running, lifting, and moving equipment, as well as standing and walking for extended periods.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- The position is non-exempt.
- New hires will receive compensation based on the New Hire Teacher Salary Information and Classroom Monitor Hourly Rate Information provided.
SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS-frequency, contact, purpose
Contact with participants, parents, other coaches, and administrative staff is essential for the success of the program.
CERTIFICATIONS
Certification requirements vary depending on the specific position and sport involved.
