Supervisory Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Coordinate with Nuclear Chief Test Engineers and Ship's Force to ensure test readiness and support shipboard testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Advise upper management on issues affecting shipyard programs and their impact
• Oversee the technical adequacy, sequencing, and execution of a multi-million-dollar test program involving non-nuclear electrical and mechanical systems

Key Duties

• Manage significant projects impacting operational programs, public welfare, and environmental sustainability
• Establish priorities, monitor assigned work, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project execution

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems
• Project management and coordination skills
• Ability to advise management and oversee complex testing programs effectively
