About the role

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. The position is located in the Marine Design Center's Machinery Branch in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
• One‑year probationary period during which the agency evaluates fitness and whether continued employment advances the public interest.
• Direct Deposit of pay is required.
• Submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry and annually thereafter.
• Selection subject to Department of Defense referral system restrictions for displaced employees.
