Supervisor, Warehouse (Onsite Oshkosh)
About the role
Direct and supervise shipping/receiving personnel to ensure timely shipments are made and product is accurately received while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, including auditing, addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions, timely reporting safety incidents, enforcing safety-related policies and procedures, and conducting any needed training.
- Help coordinate outbound shipments.
- Ensure deliveries are scheduled and completed based on available and anticipated inventory and order promise dates.
- Address and communicate quality issues to internal team and external customers.
- Ensure raw materials are received and accurately placed into inventory.
- Ensure warehouse and materials are well-organized.
- Confer with plant personnel and other departments to review activities and operating reports to determine changes in schedules.
- Maintain a high degree of plant floor visibility throughout the shift.
- Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities.
- Conduct annual performance reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- 2 years of experience formal leadership position.
- 2 years of experience in plastics or fabrication environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's Degree.
