Supervisor, Warehouse

About the Role

Direct and supervise shipping/receiving personnel to ensure timely shipments and accurate product receipt while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, including auditing, addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions, reporting safety incidents, enforcing policies, and conducting training.
• Coordinate outbound shipments and ensure deliveries are scheduled based on inventory and order promise dates.
• Address and communicate quality issues to internal teams and external customers.
• Ensure raw materials are received and accurately placed into inventory.
• Maintain a well-organized warehouse and materials system.
• Confer with plant personnel and other departments to review activities and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain high visibility on the plant floor throughout the shift.
• Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities.
• Conduct annual performance reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate's Degree (desired).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years in a formal leadership position (required).
• 2 years of experience in plastics or fabrication environment (desired).

Schedule

This role may require regular travel (5% - 10%) between two company locations approximately 10 miles apart. Employees must be able to work at either location based on business needs.
