Supervisor, Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of warehouse and distribution departments
• Ensure development, implementation, and compliance of operational policies and procedures with ACHC, OSHA, and FDA guidelines
• Oversee purchasing related processes
• Explore and propose new and improved approaches for saving time and money
• Oversee shipping related activities
• Explore and implement alternative cost-saving opportunities
• Oversee facilities and maintenance requirements
• Ensure warehouse interior and exterior is maintained in the cleanest, safest, most efficient manner
• Train, coordinate, and motivate cleaning and function testing personnel
• Compile and submit performance improvement requirements and recommendations
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage team of employees responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Interview, hire, and train employees. Plan, assign, and direct work. Appraise performance. Reward and discipline employees. Address complaints and resolve problems.
