Supervisor, Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of warehouse and distribution departments
• Ensure development, implementation, and compliance of operational policies and procedures with ACHC, OSHA, and FDA guidelines
• Oversee purchasing related processes
• Explore and propose new and improved approaches for saving time and money
• Oversee shipping related activities
• Explore and implement alternative cost-saving opportunities
• Oversee facilities and maintenance requirements
• Ensure warehouse interior and exterior is maintained in the cleanest, safest, most efficient manner
• Train, coordinate, and motivate cleaning and function testing personnel
• Compile and submit performance improvement requirements and recommendations
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage team of employees responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Interview, hire, and train employees
• Plan, assign, and direct work
• Appraise performance
• Reward and discipline employees
• Address complaints and resolve problems

Physical Demands
