Supervisor Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Assign, supervise, and review the work of staff for assigned work unit.
• Implement production plans according to approved schedule.
• May participate in the full range of daily operational duties, performing the most difficult tasks.
• Inspect and evaluate work in progress, identify problem areas, and direct remedial action.
• Conduct performance evaluations on subordinate staff.
• Prepare estimates of staffing, materials, and equipment requirements for projected work activities.
• Maintain an inventory of parts and materials.
• Approve purchases of materials and equipment; maintain time, materials, and equipment use reports.
• Requisition tools, supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Train staff in safety procedures.
• Mentor staff in warehouse policies and processes.
• Ensure all training for warehouse staff is up to date.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with five (5) years of related operational experience.
• Additional certifications or licenses may be required.
• Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques.
• Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods, and procedures.
• Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring, and administration.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse inventory control systems, purchase orders.
• Knowledge of purchasing rules, regulations, methods, and forms.
• Expertise in operating a variety of light equipment, hand trucks, and vehicles within a warehouse environment.
• Proficient in bar code usage.
• Maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Excellent customer service skills, displaying a professional can-do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP and MSHA.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Previous warehouse experience.

Benefits

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $75,000-$104,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
