Responsibilities
- Supervise and implement the Company Construction Program, ensuring each job site follows construction rules, practices, and policies
- Be available for call-outs
- Represent the company and interface with customers, developers, property owners, utilities, and municipalities
- Coordinate, lead, and assist crews, subcontractors, and other interested parties
- Ensure construction schedules are met on time
- Enforce all corporate policies and procedures
- Organize, plan, multitask, and prioritize daily workload with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all staff
Requirements
- 3+ years of supervisor experience in the telecommunications industry
- Working knowledge of telecommunications industry standards, practices, and regulations for fiber optic and copper cable outside plant construction
- Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods and engineering requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Willingness to work solo and in a team environment
- Experience working in all types of weather, including inclement conditions
- Self-starter with effective communication skills
