Supervisor Telecom Aerial

About the role

At VCI Construction, as a Supervisor Telecom Aerial, you will lead our team in the Anaheim area. Successful candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operations to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
• Ensure that all employees working on projects are working safely and productively.
• Provide employees working under your direction "On the Job Training" such as; construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers and crews.
• Requisition, assign and track materials needed for the daily operations.
• Perform audits of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.
• Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as-built maps" for areas built.
• Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
• Verify submitted Daily Production Reports for accuracy and approve recorded production for billing purposes.
• Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Strong project management skills.
• Good understanding of OSHA requirements and a priority for safety.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner.
• Knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

Qualifications

• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.

Pay

The wage range for Supervisor Telecom Aerial is $70,304.00 - $92,000.00.
