Supervisor Store 1 - Part-time

About the role

Works autonomously in managing the functions of a store. Supervises a team of store clerks, clerical employees, and/or volunteers with full responsibility for hiring, firing, performance evaluations, and employee training. May have the assistance of at least one Lead Clerk depending on store size.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise employees
• Conduct hiring, performance evaluations, and terminations
• Train employees
• Set up store supplies accounts and manage expense reports
• Prepare weekly schedules
• Receive shipments and ensure inventory accuracy
• Monitor and manage store metrics
• Order store supplies
• Oversee store displays and ensure correct price tags
• Participate in monthly manager meetings
• Manage store keys and proper use of purchase cards
• Ensure safety of employees and customers
• Maintain security of store funds
• Ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• At least 3 years of lead or supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading others in a retail setting

Schedule

Part-time position, 27 hours per week.
