Work Schedule
This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with hours primarily falling Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. No weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
About the Role
We are seeking a Social Work Supervisor to:
- Provide day-to-day operational oversight and frontline leadership for the social work team, ensuring appropriate staffing coverage and supporting timely, patient-centered care delivery.
- Cook, mentor, and support social workers through regular supervision, case consultation, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Promote adherence to departmental policies, workflows, documentation standards, and evidence-based social work practices.
- Foster staff engagement by identifying educational needs, facilitating learning opportunities, and encouraging participation in quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices that improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Monitor team performance and provide timely feedback, coaching, and support to promote accountability, continuous learning, and high-quality patient care.
- Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff, assisting with complex situations, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work Required
- 3 years post-Master’s social work experience Required
- Preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Preferred Experience working with persons in area of specialty
- Preferred Certified Clinical Social Worker in area of specialty
Skills
- Licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW)
- Licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Certified Independent Social Worker (CISW)
