About the Role

The primary function of this job is to supervise employees during their shift and ensure they complete their tasks while staying motivated to work effectively. Shift supervisors contribute to the production strategy by understanding business goals and how to achieve them. You’ll also act as a reference point for employees and customers, addressing problems as they arise. This role reports to the Production Manager and is based in the Yarns division.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily duties are completed and goals are met.
• Manage daily schedules, employee shifts, time-off requests, and ensure adequate coverage.
• Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress.
• Ensure daily production goals are met.
• Responsible for payroll accuracy and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent years of work experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience (Production Management).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting skills.
• High level of safety awareness.
• Ability to work a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule (Nights: 7pm–7am).
• Ability to work in a cotton dust environment.
• Knowledge of the cotton industry is a plus.

Schedule

12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (Nights: 7pm–7am).
