Primary Duties

  • Leads and mentors a team of Product Owners and Analysts to ensure clarity of responsibilities, balanced workload distribution, and consistent delivery.
  • Supports the definition of product vision, goals, and roadmaps in partnership with product leadership.
  • Manages product backlogs by prioritizing features, enhancements, and defect resolution to meet business and customer needs.
  • Translates complex business needs into clear product requirements and user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to plan work, clarify requirements, and deliver solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Communicates product progress, updates, and performance to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Incorporates customer insights, analytics, and market trends into product decisions to support continuous improvement.
  • Defines and monitors key performance indicators to assess product success and guide optimization efforts.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Job Requirements

  • Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; 3+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a related field, including experience working in collaborative, iterative development environments; 1+ years of leadership or mentoring experience preferred; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop team members; excellent communication and stakeholder-collaboration skills; ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable product requirements; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to guide decisions; knowledge of product lifecycle management and iterative development practices; ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Essential Mental And Physical Functions: Ability to work for extended periods at a computer or workstation; frequent communication with team members, leadership, and stakeholders; ability to review written documentation and analyze detailed product information; ability to organize, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

  • Performs all tasks in an office or remote-office setting.
  • Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams through in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Compliance with all applicable organizational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
