Supervisor Plant Operations

Summary

Oversees the daily operations and maintenance of an acute or non-acute care healthcare facility. Plans and directs the preventive maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and various utility systems to maintain them in optimum operating condition at all times, assuring energy efficient operations of all equipment and system. Performs all evaluations and management functions for assigned staff and ensures technicians have the correct tools and supplies to complete tasks. Assures work performed by technicians meets all applicable codes and standards for quality and productivity. Represents the department at meetings.

Requirements

Educational Requirements

Two years of formal education or training beyond high school.

Experience Requirements

Minimum Years Required: 5 Years Area of Experience: Supervisor/Management

Licenses

Must have a Valid Florida Drivers License or within 30 days of hire, forklift operator certification EPA 608 Type III Certification (minimum) within 90 days of hire.

Certifications/Registrations

Certificates of training or degree in trade field preferred.
