Supervisor - Pipeline Accounting

Sunoco LP is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our Operational Accounting team in Dallas, TX. We are a growth company operating within Fuel Distribution, Pipelines Systems, and Terminals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Navigate and manage stressful situations in a professional, solution-oriented manner that achieves the best outcomes and overall team performance
• Maintain the full pipeline margin accounting process from ticketing through billing and reporting, identifying and resolving issues as they arise, and escalating matters to Management when necessary
• Accountable for the performance of direct reports, providing positive feedback or developmental feedback to correct behaviors and improve performance as needed
• Understand the working details of multiple systems, the accounting organization, and all business operations
• Collaborate with counterparties to improve processes and procedures that benefit the company and the team
• Translate constructive feedback into positive changes for oneself and the team

Working Conditions

• Usually, normal office working conditions
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
• Occasional overnight travel may be required

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required
• Required Skills: Proficiency in Excel required
• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP, Synthesis, or TopTech a plus
• Preferred qualifications: Experience with Power BI or Alteryx preferred
• Experience: 4+ years experience

Pay and Schedule

The pay for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
