Supervisor Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy
About the role
Assists the Pharmacy Manager in coordinating daily operational, organizational, training and educational activities of the Pharmacy Technician staff to provide for a well-trained, smoothly operating department. Coordinates the daily activities and acts as immediate supervisor for all support personnel including Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Technician Interns/students, and any volunteer personnel. Develops and sets standards to meet the educational requirements for the technical support staff. Acts as a liaison between the Pharmacy Technicians and the other Pharmacy management and has decision making authority in certain situations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operational, organizational, training and educational activities of the Pharmacy Technician staff
- Act as immediate supervisor for Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Technician Interns/students, and volunteer personnel
- Develop and set standards to meet the educational requirements for the technical support staff
- Serve as liaison between Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy management
- Exercise decision-making authority in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
Required Qualifications
- Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician or Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
- 2 years Pharmacy experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year Specialty Pharmacy experience
- Lead technician and/or supervisory responsibility

Pay
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
